How I was Radicalized

The first public reading of HOW I WAS RADICALIZED, a new pop/rock musical presented by Theatre 167

Friday, June 10 · 8:00pm – 10:00pm @ PS 69 (7702 37th Avenue Queens NY). Space is limited, RSVP by emailing theatre167@gmail.com for reservations.

It’s 1999, but instead of partying, Sam, the only daughter of a corporate CEO, joins a group of rag-tag activists on a cross-country road trip to an anti-globalization protest. After an unexpected tragedy Sam defends Mick, a charismatic leader with a dangerous side. He presents Sam with a question whose consequences will effect the entire movement: why do we fight for the things we believe in? This new musical melds pop and rock into a poignant exploration of youth and rebellion.
