Who doesn’t love a good remake? While Times Square should normally be avoided at all costs – except for the unlimited breadsticks at Olive Garden – Liz Magic Laser’s Flight is not to be missed May 3, 6 and 7 at Duffy Square in Times Square (between 46th and 47th Streets)
Liz Magic Laser “Flight”
Laser has been selected to present her work in Duffy Square as part of Time Square Arts. Flight is a sequence of live chase scenes from classic motion pictures: Battleship Potemkin, M, Niagara, American Psycho and 28 Days Later. The performance presents a series of fast-paced slippages where villains become victims and witnesses become perpetrators. Laser choreographs these scenes so that the pursuer in one scene becomes the pursued in the next.
